Former MLA Asif Shaikh glorifies Aurangzeb !

Malegaon, Maharashtra – “Aurangzeb was a pious individual. He earned his meals by stitching caps and lived an honest life. He upheld communal harmony and practiced it sincerely. Unfortunately, he has been maligned for political gains. Today, his name is being used for vote-bank politics and to polarise society, which is not right,” said former MLA Asif Shaikh, addressing a gathering at the ‘North Maharashtra Reflection Camp’ organized by the Minority Defence Committee.
Shaikh stood firm by his statement that “Aurangzeb was a pious personality”, sparking outrage and strong criticism from several quarters.
