Mumbai – “We are not against any religion. We respect all religions. The film ‘PK’ aims to caution common people against those who exploit religion to fool them and extort money. Such people exist in every religion.” This statement was made by actor Aamir Khan in an interview with India TV. (Then why doesn’t Aamir Khan speak about whether the film included scenes related to the religious beliefs of Muslims ? – Editor) According to Aamir Khan, that was the sole purpose of the movie.

While expressing his views on ‘Love Jihad’, Aamir Khan said:
“When two people from different religions—especially a Hindu and a Muslim—fall in love and get married, it cannot be termed ‘Love Jihad’ every time. This is called humanity. My sister Nikhat married Santosh Hegde, and my other sister Farhat married Rajeev Dutta. My daughter Ira married Nupur Shikhare. Would you call that Love Jihad? Love is the greatest thing in life.”
(Why does Aamir Khan not speak about the cases where Muslim men hide their identity to lure Hindu women into relationships, leading to forced conversions and deceit ? Also, why doesn’t he advise his own community members who have murdered Hindu boys for loving Muslim girls ? – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveIn the movie ‘PK’, scenes such as a greedy priest collecting money from donation boxes, an actor dressed as Deity Shiva running away in fear, people being fooled by applying vermillion on stones, and portraying Hindu saints as frauds were all depicted in a way that defamed Hinduism. Claiming that the film ‘PK’, which did not show even a single scene reflecting the greatness of Hinduism but instead mocked the religion, was not anti-Hindu — is a clear example of Aamir Khan’s dishonesty and shamelessness ! |
