Mumbai – The Hindu community was furious because Muslim employees installed grills on the holy square in Shri Shani Shingnapur Temple. After this, the temple administration removed 114 Muslim employees from work, a right and timely action. Mr Sunil Ghanwat, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh State Organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), said in a press release that he welcomed the decision and congratulated the temple administration on behalf of HJS, Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh and other pro-Hindu organisations.
Mr Sunil Ghanwat further stated in that press release that in the backdrop of the incident, they should investigate employees of other religions in other temples under the control of the Government and relieve them immediately from service. Temples are centres of faith and the faith and conduct of the employees must be in accordance with religion. The temple management should appoint employees only by considering their sattva predominant (Sattvik) nature.
