In a short promo for the film, it is stated that “History is like a magician. A version of history has been imposed on us that never actually happened.” Examples cited include: Vasco da Gama discovered India, India gained independence solely through non- violence, brahmins came to India from outside, women and Shudras were not allowed to study the Vedas and more.

It highlights his fight against the system, how he used the Right to Information (RTI) Act to inquire about the sources used in history textbooks, and his overall struggle.
