Secularism is not a shield but a sword for some people

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan criticizes Bengal Police for arresting Sharmishtha

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) – When elected leaders, Trinamool Congress MPs criticise Sanatan Dharma, then what about the pain in the hearts of crores of people? When our religion is called a dirty religion, why does no one say anything about it? Do they apologise at that time? Why are they not arrested immediately? Secularism should not act as a shield for some and a sword for others. In fact, secularism should be a two-way street. (There should be one law for people of both religions.) Bengal Police, don’t forget, the entire country is watching you, said Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan after the arrest of Sharmistha Panoli.

Editorial Perspective

There are only a handful of political leaders who speak out against the injustice being done to Hindus. One of them is Pawan Kalyan. Due to this, Hindus feel supported by him.
