UP State Government’s ‘Digital Khoya-Paya Kendra’ (Lost and Found Centre) plays an important role
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – Prayagraj Maha Kumbha 2025 has been celebrated with all its divinity and grandeur. More than 66 crore devotees took a holy dip in this historic religious event, which was held after 144 years. The Kumbha Mela administration was able to reunite 54,357 devotees with their families, who had got lost during this grand event. This has been possible due to the vision and dedicated efforts of the Yogi Adityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh. The ‘Digital Lost and Found Centre’ established by the State Government contributed significantly to this achievement.

1. Number of lost devotees found on the same day: Out of a total of 54,357 lost devotees, more than 35,000 were reunited with their families on the same day.
2. Makar Sankranti Amrit Snan period (January 13th to 15th ): 598 missing people reunited with their loved ones.
