Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – On the day of Mahashivaratri, on 26.02.2025, ‘Jalabhishek’ was performed in Shiva Mandir which was closed for 56 years. As a part of the conspiracy, there was an attempt to wipe out the signs of 68 sacred places and 19 wells in Sambhal. We must get what belongs to us and nothing less, asserted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the State Legislative Council.
Bhagavan Vishnu is going to be incarnated in the form of Kalki in Sambhal. Shri Harihar temple was built here during the regime of king Prithviraj Chauhan. The ancient map of this temple shows the existence of 68 sacred places and 19 wells in the temple area and Hindus are trying to get them back. The above statement of CM Yogi is stated to be significant in this context.

The truth about Shahi Jama Masjid has been exposed through the surveys conducted by the Advocate Commissioner and Archaeological Survey of India. The ploy hatched under the guise of Waqf properties has been uncovered.
There are big plans to develop Sambhal as a religious and cultural tourist centre which would promote local trade.
