Hindu Dharma Sabha held at Madhi (Ahilyanagar)

Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra – The residents of Madhi village in Pathardi taluka of Ahilyanagar district had decided not to allow Muslims to set up shops at the village fair. A resolution to this effect was also passed by the Gram Panchayat, which faced opposition. Fisheries and Port Development Minister Nitesh Rane has supported this resolution by the Madhi Gram Panchayat. He stated that the decision taken by Madhi village will go down in history. This village has shown jihadis their place. Rane warned that if anyone challenges Hinduism, the decision taken by Madhi village will be implemented across Maharashtra in the future. He made these remarks while addressing a Hindu Dharma Sabha in Madhi village. “If you want to come to our religious places and wage jihad, we will not tolerate it,” Rane asserted in his public speech.

Nitesh Rane further said :

The staunch Hindus of Madhi village have awakened. The decision of Madhi village is one that will guide the nation.
Let the Block Development Officer (BDO), who cancelled the resolution of the Madhi Gram Sabha, know that this is a Hindutva-loyal government. If we took a stand against your religion, would you tolerate it ? When Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj takes a stance, why does it sting you ? Nitesh Rane raised these questions.

I became a minister because the Hindu public voted for me. There’s no need for marches or protests anymore. Those days are gone; this is now a Hindutva-loyal government.
Even if the resolution of Madhi village has been cancelled, pass it again and have all the villagers sign it. Once all the villagers sign the resolution, let’s see how the BDO cancels it.
Encroachments by these people are being removed in many places across the state. Why should those whose religion opposes idol worship be allowed to set up shops in our fairs ?

If they don’t allow Hindus to set up shops during their festivals, what’s wrong if Hindus don’t allow Muslims to set up shops during their sacred festivals ? People of other religions diminish the sanctity of Hindu fairs—they set up meat and mutton shops, don’t bathe for 8-9 days, and create filth there. The stance taken by the village sarpanch and residents to protect Hinduism against this is commendable. Other villages and temples across Maharashtra should adopt a similar stance to put an end to this conspiracy against Hinduism.
Resolution banning Muslim traders cancelledThe Chaitanya Kanifnath Maharaj fair is set to begin next month in Madhi. A delegation from the Muslim community had demanded action against those responsible, alleging that the Gram Panchayat’s resolution was unconstitutional. The BDO had issued a ‘show cause’ notice to the Madhi Gram Sevak. Subsequently, Pathardi Panchayat Samiti’s Block Development Officer Shivaji Kamble sent an inquiry report to senior officials and clarified that the resolution banning Muslim traders has been cancelled. |
