Fanatic Muslims assault Hindus in Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), issue threats

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – In Hajiapur of Bareilly district, tension erupted when a group of fanatic Muslim youths attacked Hindus who were planning to celebrate Holi. The Police have registered a case against six Muslims in this matter. The Hindus alleged that they were threatened with dire consequences if they celebrated Holi, with the attackers saying, ‘If Holi is celebrated, we will pile up dead bodies’

The areas of Hajiapur, Jogi Nawada, and Chak Mahmood are considered sensitive zones. (The names of these areas themselves indicate the demographic dominance. It is evident who holds influence here and why these are considered sensitive areas – Editor) Previously, during the Shravan month, a similar situation arose when fanatic Muslims pelted stones at Kanwar Yatris.

Details of the incident

The attack : Residents of Hajiapur—Laxman, Munna, Shani, and Akash—were discussing Holi celebrations in their locality when Ayan, Salman, Aman, Rehan, Bhura, Alam, and several other Muslim youths arrived and suddenly attacked them. They also threatened to kill them. In the assault, Laxman, Munna, and Akash were injured. The victims claimed that the Muslims wanted to intentionally disturb the atmosphere before Holi.

Police action : After the incident, the Baradari Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Since the case involves Hindu-Muslim tensions, the Police are on high alert, increasing patrolling in the area. The Police stated that, considering the seriousness of the matter, efforts are underway to arrest the remaining accused.

Despite Yogi Adityanath’s strict BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh, fanatic elements remain unchecked ! Hindus believe the Government should introduce a law to ensure capital punishment for such violent offenders and execute it promptly.
