Nagpur – The increasing incidents in the name of Love Jihad are definitely bad. The trend of deceiving the other person by giving a false identity and getting married and giving birth to children and abandoning them is increasing. This includes seduction, cheating or deliberately lying and this is not right, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while talking to the media on 16th February. The Supreme Court has also shown the reality of Love Jihad in its decision. The Kerala High Court has confirmed this. Chief Minister Fadnavis was speaking in the backdrop of a committee formed by the State Government in connection with the incidents of Love Jihad.
Such incidents are happening continuously in states like Maharashtra. It is not bad for a person of one religion to marry a person of another religion; however, marrying by giving a false identity and abandoning children after they are born is a serious incident. Therefore, the State Government will make a suitable law in this regard.
