YouTuber Ravindra Pokharkar’s anti-Hindu remarks
Mumbai – Ravindra Pokharkar, who runs the YouTube channel ‘Abhivyakti,’ made an anti-Hindu statement through his video, alleging that H.H. Swami Govinddev Giri, the treasurer of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Trust in Ayodhya, follows a toxic and fanatic ideology. On 10thFebruary, he released a video titled “Suparibaz, Pakhandi Kirtankar Maharaj,” where he made these remarks. Following this, a case has been registered against him. Throughout the video, Swami Govinddev Giri was referred to in a disrespectful manner.
Ravindra Pokharkar stated, “During the Assembly elections, Kirtankars were used for campaigning. These Kirtankars gave up on the values propagated by our Saints. They openly sold themselves in the market. They turned the Assembly elections into a religious organisation’s election, claiming, ‘If you want to protect religion, there is no alternative to the BJP.” (Pokharkar’s choice of words for Kirtankars clearly reflects his anti-Hindu mentality – Editor)

Strict punishment for such acts in the future – Acharya Tushar Bhosale, State President, BJP Spiritual Coordination Committee
The primary duty of revered Saints, Sages, and Kirtankars is to protect Dharma. Their role is to awaken society for it. Dharmacharyas and Kirtankars in Maharashtra have upheld this tradition and spread awareness in society. They did not ask people to vote for any particular party; they only engaged in religious awakening. However, this individual was giving sermons through his video on what Dharmacharyas and Kirtankars should do instead. Strict punishment will be ensured for such acts in the future.
