Muslim stepmother had killed his father and threw him out of the house
Barabanki (UP) – A shocking case has surfaced where a teenage boy was forcibly circumcised and converted to Islam. He was made to work at a hotel and continuously harassed. The boy was held captive and deprived of food. Following the intervention of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists, a case was registered at the local Police station. The boy is currently placed in a juvenile home. He is originally from Azamgarh.
1. Vinay Singh Rajput, the District Coordinator of VHP in Barabanki, stated that he was standing near “Hindu Medical Store” at Palhari Chowk when the teenager approached him. Initially, the boy identified himself as Noor Mohammad, but later revealed his Hindu identity. Upon further inquiry, the boy shared detailed information.
2. The teenager said he was a resident of Atrauliya in Azamgarh and belonged to a Dalit community. After his mother’s death, his father married a Muslim woman. Following this, Muslim individuals began visiting their home frequently. His stepmother killed his father for property and threw the boy out of the house.
3. During this period, the boy met a scrap dealer named Riyasat Ali and his son Murshid. The duo kept him for several months and forced him to work without pay. Later, under the pretext of finding him a job, Murshid brought him to Barabanki and employed him at a restaurant named “Afifa Restaurant.” The boy was made to work there without proper meals.
4. One day, the restaurant owner asked the boy about his family. The boy mentioned that he had no family. Following this, the owner took him to a hospital, where he was circumcised. After returning to the restaurant, the owner declared, “Now you are a Muslim, and your name is Noor Mohammad.” The boy was then coerced into offering namaz.
5. Based on the complaint, the Police have registered a case against Murshid, his father Riyasat Ali, and the owner of Afifa Restaurant on charges of forced religious conversion and physical abuse. The boy has been sent to a juvenile home.
