Prayagraj – “No one can divide the followers of Sanatan Dharma. We stand united and will remain united. We have pledged unity for the welfare of all Sanatanis,” declared renowned Kathavachak Shri Devkinandan Thakur during a press conference on January 23 rd . He announced that a ‘Dharma Sansad’; will be held at the Maha Kumbha on January 27 th , where a key demand will be made to the Union Government to establish a Sanatan Board. “The framework for this board has already been finalized, and a conclusive decision will be taken during the Dharma Sansad. We are committed to ensuring that the Government establishes the Sanatan Board,” he emphasized.

The Dharma Sansad will see the participation of Sadhus, Saints, Shankaracharyas, and leaders from 13 prominent akhadas across the country. The primary aim of this initiative is to foster unity among all followers of Sanatan Dharma, he added.

1. Shri Devkinandan Thakur added, “The establishment of a Sanatan Board is crucial to protect and strengthen places associated with Sanatan Dharma. This board will serve the entire Sanatan community and ensure the preservation of our spiritual heritage.”

Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, raised concerns about the 9 to 10 lakh acres of land under the Waqf Board, stating, ‘Lands belonging to temples and muths are being encroached upon, and we will not tolerate this under any circumstances. Establishing a Sanatan Board has become imperative.” He further added, “While the format of the Sanatan Board has been prepared, the consent of temples, muths, and Saints will be sought. Our primary objective is to safeguard and strengthen religious places to uphold their sanctity and heritage.”
