New Delhi – Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah criticized the Congress party for questioning the reliability of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). He remarked, “When you win an election, you celebrate; but when you lose, you raise questions about EVMs. This is not right. If the Congress has no faith in EVMs, it should not contest elections.”
Omar Abdullah also emphasized the need to restore Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest. He stated that the final decision on granting Statehood rests with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
