Kolkata (Bengal) – Humayun Kabir, MLA of the ruling Trinamool Congress in Bengal, has announced that a new Babri Masjid will be built on 2 acres of land at Beldanga in Muslim- majority Murshidabad District. The construction of Babri Masjid will be started before 6thDecember 2025. Kabir has said that he would donate Rs 1 crore for this mosque.

Kabir further said that Bengal has 34% Muslims. They want to walk with pride. It is their right. A Board of Trustees of 100 members will be constituted for the mosque.
