Islamic extremists take control of Dara city in Syria: Marching towards capital Damascus

Damascus (Syria) – The Bashar al-Assad regime’s challenges in Syria are mounting. Rebels under the leadership of Islami extremist are heading to the country’s capital Damascus. They have captured several key cities while defeating Syrian forces along the way. After Aleppo and Hama, the rebels have now taken control of the Syrian city of Dara. (It is not wrong to say that whereever there are Islamic fundamentalists anywhere in the world, there is unrest and instability too – Editor).

The city of Dara, near the border with Jordan, has reportedly been taken over by the local armed forces of the extremists. The Syrian army has been pushed back from all these places. Despite the support of Russia and Iran, the ceasefire has not been implemented in the region and incidents of violence continue.
