Possibility of stress on health system

Kabul (Afghanistan) – Since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, bad times have started for women. Countless restrictions have been imposed on women one after another. In this regard, the Taliban Government has banned nursing courses for young women. Afghanistan already has a poor health system. So this step taken by them can be more dangerous for the public.
An official from the Taliban’s Ministry of Public Health told the news agency that health officials met with heads of educational institutions in Kabul to implement the directive.
In videos aired on BBC Afghan, female trainees from some institutions are seen crying after hearing the news.
A health ministry official said the ban will further increase the challenges facing the country’s health system. “We already have a shortage of professional doctors and para-medical staff,” said the official.
