H. H. Swami Govinddev Giri accorded a touching welcome at the Sanatan Ashram Goa

Sanatan Ashram (Ramnathi, Ponda), Goa – H. H. Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj, the treasurer of Shri Ram Jjanmabhoomi Teerthakshetra Nyas, Ayodhya, received a touching welcome at Sanatan Sanstha’s Ashram located in Goa, the land of Bhagwan Parashuram. H.H. Swamiji paid a goodwill visit to Sanatan Ashram on 30th November 2024. Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal, one of the Spiritual Heirs of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr Jayant Athavale, the founder of Sanatan Sanstha, H.H. Pruthviraj Hazare, the former Group Editor of Sanatan Prabhat periodicals, Mr Virendra Marathe, the Managing Trustee of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr Chetan Rajhans, the National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha and other Saints and seekers from the Ashram were present on this auspicious occasion. H.H. Pruthviraj Hazare welcomed and felicitated H.H Swamiji on behalf of Sanatan Ashram.

H.H. Swami Govinddev Giri was welcomed by Vinayak Agvekar, seeker with 66% spiritual level, who applied a tilak to Swamiji’s forehead and Mrs Manjiri Agvekar, seeker with 64% spiritual level, who performed aukshan of H. H. Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj. The Ashrams atmosphere was charged with Bhav on H.H. Swamiji’s arrival. Seeker Mr Abhishek Pai apprised Swamiji of the various activities undertaken in the Ashram for the protection of Nation and Dharma, spiritual research work carried on different art forms like music, dance, etc.; besides the personality defects and ego reduction process followed by the seekers, and different temples instated in the Ashram. Mr Chetan Rajhans, Sanatan Sanstha’s national spokesperson was also present. Swamiji had earlier visited the Ashram in March 2014.

1. On listening to the work related to different art forms, H.H. Swamiji stated that when one’s art is offered to God, its goal is fulfilled. He also keenly listened to the information about the exhibition on the subtle world.

2. On seeing the idol of Annapoorna Devi in the Ashram kitchen, he reminisced about His visits to Annapoorna Devi Temple in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh).

3. H.H. Swamiji was appreciative about seekers honestly writing their mistakes on the board in the dining room.

4. H. H. Swamiji was very pleased to see Shriram Shaligram consecrated as per the instructions of Maharshis and the replica of Shrikrishna-Arjuna’s chariot in the Ashram.

5. H.H. Bharatacharya Prof. S.G. Shewade (from Mumbai), met H.H. Swamiji in the Ashram and held discussions on the present state of Hindu Dharma.

H. H. Swami Govinddev Giri also visited the head office of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ in the Ashram. He was apprised of Sanatan Prabhat’s mission. Swamiji acknowledged the good work done by Sanatan Prabhat and stated that he derives inspiration from Sanatan Prabhat. Mr Yogesh Jaltare, the Group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ presented H.H. Swamiji with special issues of Sanatan Prabhat from January 2024, published on the occasion of consecration of the murti of Shriram in the Shriram Mandir (Ayodhya).
