New Delhi – On the second day of 27thNovember, winter session of Parliament, the House was adjourned on 28th November due to ruckus again. The opposition party in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha created ruckus over the issue of Gautam Adani case. The US government officials have filed a case against Adani Group of Industries, alleging bribery of Rs 2,000 crore. The opposition party was demanding a discussion on the issue.
Editorial PerspectiveThe Parliament runs on public money. Crores of rupees go waste because of the members who create ruckus to compel the parliament to adjourn the proceedings. The public money must be recovered from them as a penalty. Now the people should pressurise the Government to do this. |
