Mumbai, 4th November – Outside Tata Memorial Hospital in Parel, an elderly Hindu man and his associates were distributing free meals to patients’ relatives. While giving food, they were asking recipients to say ‘Jai Shriram’. A woman, however, refused to say ‘Jai Shriram’, and started arguing. Minutes later, a video of this incident was circulated widely on social media, portraying Hindus as fanatical and narrow-minded; but ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ revealed the plot that the video was staged deliberately. A post about this on Sanatan Prabhat’s ‘X’ account reached over 400,000 people worldwide.

To record this video, a Muslim journalist from the Mumbai TV YouTube channel was already set up at the location, ready to film, and then a Muslim woman started the argument, giving the impression that the entire incident was pre-planned. A third party even lodged a complaint at a local police station. After visiting the site and speaking with the BhoiWada Police Station, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’s special correspondent uncovered that the incident was part of a conspiracy to malign Hindus.

Muslim Woman and Muslim Journalist pre-planned to record this video
The Muslim woman involved in the argument had argued with the elderly Hindu man even the previous day. The following day, she coordinated with the Mumbai TV journalist, who recorded the video. To hide her identity, the woman covered her face with a scarf before creating the fracas. After the incident, the journalist interviewed her and made her reaction viral on social media.
Journalist and Woman Provoked the Elderly Hindu Man
The woman started the argument, and the journalist who was a part of the plot, asked the elderly man to say “Jai Shriram’ while giving food and recorded the incident. When the elderly man shooed off the journalist, he proceeded to record the woman’s reaction.
Muslims Deliberately Make Viral Food Distribution VideoThe day after this incident, a group of Muslims distributed food outside Tata Hospital, recording a video of the distribution and deliberately posted on Mumbai TV’s YouTube channel. In the video, a Muslim man with a cap says, “We provide food but don’t make anyone say ‘Allahu Akbar!’” |
Complaint by a Third Party
A representative from ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ visited BhoiWada Police Station and met the senior Police Inspector when he was informed that neither the arguing woman nor the elderly Hindu who asked people to say “Jai Shriram” had filed a complaint. The complaint came from a third-party individual, and the Police have taken preventive legal action, warning the people involved in the incident.
No Crime Registered
According to the Police, asking someone to say “Jai Shriram” while giving food is not a crime, and no crime has been registered in this case. The elderly Hindu distributing food has been advised not to distribute it at that location.
