Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) – Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the Chandrababu Naidu Government is upset with the Home Minister Anitha. He advised her to be like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and asked to take concrete steps to curb the rising crime in the State. He has given this warning in the backdrop of an increase in crimes against women in the State.
1. After the recent incident of sexual assault on a 3-year-old girl, Pawan Kalyan said that the peace and security situation in Andhra Pradesh has deteriorated significantly. The way law and order are being handled in Yogi Adityanath’s Uttar Pradesh, they should be handled in the same manner in Andhra Pradesh too.
2. Political leaders and MLAs are not just there to seek votes. They have responsibilities too. It’s not like I can’t ask for or take Home Ministry. If I do, things will be very different for people. We should become like Yogi Adityanath. Otherwise, criminals will not change. So, decide whether you will change or not.
3. A rift was predicted after open criticism of the home minister; but Narayan, another senior minister in Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet, said that as the Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan has the right to point out mistakes and criticise ministers.
