Once again outrageous step by Waqf Board

Dharwad (Karnataka) – In Karnataka one more case of grabbing land by recording it in the name of Waqf Board instead of the original owner, has come to light. 3.13-acre land in Uppinbettagiri village was owned by farmer, Mallappa Masuthi, he was not given any notice, and his land has been recorded as the land of Waqf Board in 2022. In the RTC copy of survey no. 29 the change is shown in the year 2022.
Mallappa Massuthi has claimed that his family has been farming on his ancestral land for many years. Waqf had never claimed earlier, however, now, RTC has recorded it in Waqf name and other 2-3 farmers have seen the change regarding his land.
Editorial PerspectiveCommon man certainly feels that the poor innocent farmers are being cheated by Waqf Board to grab their land. Thorough investigation must be done about such cases. |
