It is not a crime to take up arms against those who are inherently evil : Puri Peeth Shankaracharya

Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh) – “Enduring injustice in the name of modesty is not tolerance. It is not a crime to take up arms against those who are inherently evil. The army and the Police of the country take up arms to protect people, which is also a principle of Sanatan Dharma. We support non-violence, but do not consider it wrong to use weapons against those who commit violence,” stated Puri Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati.

Other points presented by the Shankaracharya,

1. Prime Minister should stop cow slaughter

The Shankaracharya further said, when the Prime Minister was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he urged the then Congress Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to stop cow slaughter. Now, as the Prime Minister himself, he says that cow protectors are goons. The Modi who once advocated for cow protection has now become an agent of cow slaughter. Any Prime Minister becomes a slave to the Christian and Muslim communities.

2. The Government is responsible for religious conversions

4 Christians attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity were sentenced to death by the Taliban regime. Sanatan Dharma is complete with philosophy, science, and behaviour. The crime of converting Hindus to Christianity under the guise of service, is happening, and the Government is responsible for these conversions.

3. Ideological decline of politicians

The ideological integrity of the nation’s political leaders is deteriorating. The standard of politics in the country is declining. Regardless of which party is in power, temples and religious institutions are run according to their principles. Secular Governments have no right to interfere in religious matters.
