New Delhi – The incident surrounding the Tirupati temple laddus is more than a matter of controversy. Swami Avimukteswaranand Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Jyoshit Peetha, expressed his reaction while talking to the correspondent of the news organization Press Trust of India that Mangal Pandey was asked to open the cartridge of a gun with cow fat through his mouth and later it led to a revolution in the country.

Shankaracharya further said that today crores of Indians have put beef fat in their mouths. This is no small incident. This is a big betrayal of Hindu society. 4-5 days have passed. The investigation of this incident will be delayed, but this incident cannot be forgotten. It is a big and organised crime. Whoever is responsible for this should be brought forward and severely punished. As long as there is a cow, we cannot become impure.
