Nagmangala (Karnataka) – There is separate justice to Hindus and Muslims in Nagmangala. Where is democracy in Karnataka, asked Ravikumar.
While speaking to the media representatives he said,
BJP MLA Muniratna has been arrested for atrocities, while the case is still in the court, on the other hand, a month ago Congress MLA Chennareddy also had a case of atrocity filed against him, however, he is still not arrested. Is this your democracy ? Is this your secularism ? Is this your Constitution ? He asked these questions to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
There was stone pelting on the participants of Nagmangala Ganeshotsav procession and chappals were hurled on the Shri Ganesh idol. Hindus were lathi charged and they had to face stone pelting. Several Hindus’ shops were burnt; however, it is Hindus who were made into the main culprits and cases have been filed against them.
Those who burnt the shops, pelted chappals and stones are excluded from the case. Is this the democracy of the State ? Ravikumar has asked this question. The whole scenario is showing separate justice to Hindus and Muslims, he said.
