Amir arrested for inappropriately touching 6-year-old girl

New Delhi – A 6-year-old girl who was walking home after school was intercepted and taken to a secluded place. After this, the Police arrested a worker named Amir for touching her inappropriately. The above incident took place on 3rd September around 1 p.m.

After the above incident, the girl got scared and ran towards her class releasing herself from his clutches. She met her teacher outside the classroom and narrated the incident.

The class teacher was also shocked to hear the incident of innocent girl. They immediately took her to the headmaster; but the principal and other officials tried to suppress the matter instead of reporting to the Police. By then, the culprit ran away from the school.

After this, the girl went home and told her parents everything that happened. The parents immediately reached the police station. The Police swung into action and arrested the principal, class teacher, supervisor and contractor of the school the very next day.

Police identified Amir through CCTV and arrested him from his house in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. A case under the POCSO Act has been registered against him.
