Tipu Sultan’s picture, and photos of M Gandhi and Ambedkar worshipped at flag hoisting ceremony

Kalburgi (Karnataka) – The leaders of the Rickshaw Drivers Association near Humnabad Ring Road here worshipped the photograph of Tipu Sutan along with M Gandhi and Dr Ambedkar during the flag hoisting ceremony of Independence Day on 15th August. The Police came to the spot and asked Tipu’s picture to be removed. On this, the leaders said, ‘If we have to remove, we will also remove the other pictures, not just Tipu’s picture.’ After this, the Police removed Tipu’s picture. (Police should have arrested those who put up Tipu’s pictures and put them in jail. – Editor)
