The head of Bangladesh’s interim Government, Muhammad Yunus, calls PM Modi
New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a call from chief adviser and head of the interim Government of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus on Friday during which they discussed bilateral relations and the safety of Hindus and other minority communities in violence-hit nation. Prime Minister Modi himself has posted this information on X. Thoughts were exchanged on the current situation there. PM Modi reaffirmed India’s support for a democratic, stable, peaceful, and progressive Bangladesh. He emphasized India’s commitment to supporting the people of Bangladesh through various development initiatives. Yunus has assured the safety of Hindus and all minorities in Bangladesh.
