US has reportedly refused visa to Sheikh Hasina

Sheikh Hasina’s son rejects the claims

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Sheikh Hasina has taken refuge in India after resigning as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. A news channel contacted her son Sajeeb Wazed, who lives in America. When asked about the talks regarding the revocation of the US visa (permission to stay in a country for a certain period of time), he said that there has been no such discussion with the US. My mother has worked in Bangladesh for many years, and thus, she was thinking of retirement.

Wazed added that the family now plans to spend time together. We will think about where and how to spend time together. I live in Washington. Some of my relatives live in London, while my sister lives in Delhi. So we don’t know where mother (Sheikh Hasina) will go now !

In the wake of the ongoing violent protests in Bangladesh, Hasina resigned as Prime Minister and landed in Ghaziabad, India, in an Air Force flight. It was being said that she would travel onward to London from India, but now problems have arisen in that planning. Hasina does not possess a diplomatic passport or an official visa. Therefore, she will first have to obtain a visa and then go to London to seek asylum. Reportedly, efforts are being made from London and Delhi to resolve this technical issue.

Editorial Perspective

It is said that the ‘Deep State’ of the United States is working behind the coup in Bangladesh and the nationwide violence. It is also said that the opposition political parties in Bangladesh had requested the US to intervene into the internal situation in Bangladesh some time ago. Therefore, Sheikh Hasina’s denial of US visa seems to be a part of this conspiracy.
