Lucknow – 50-year-old Israr raped a 12-year-old girl in Shahjahanpur in the State. The victim girl is a Hindu and belongs to Scheduled Caste. Israr fled after committing this heinous act; but the Police found and arrested him. A case has been registered against him under POCSO, SC-NT Act and other sections.
The case is from Sadar Bazar area of the city. Israr aka Guddu took a 12-year-old girl to a neighbouring shop and raped her. After the rape, he abandoned the girl.
When the girl’s father, who was returning home, saw her crying. Upon questioning, the girl narrated the incident.
When the girl’s father confronted Israr, he threatened the father.
On getting information about this case, members of some pro-Hindu organisations reached there and with their help, the father of the victim filed a Police complaint.
