New Delhi – According to a report by Forbes, the global Muslim population is expected to grow rapidly by 2050. The report states that Muslims will be on par with the Christian population worldwide. The report lists the top 10 countries with the fastest-growing Muslim populations, with India ranked first. It is projected that India will have a Muslim population of 316.6 million by 2050, marking a 46% increase compared to the current population. In contrast, Pakistan’s Muslim population is expected to be 270 million by that time.
