Latur – “Indians have been blindly imitating Western culture; therefore, knowledge has been polluted. The cardinal principles of all sciences should be brought forth to make India into a country, dedicated to knowledge, because knowledge is the foundation of the Indian way of life,” stated Indumati Katdare, Vice Chancellor of Punarutthan University during a two-day ‘All-India Vidvat Conference’ organised by this university at Janakalyan Vidyalay, Harangul.

The dignitaries sharing the stage with her were Basavraj Patil, Bhaiyaji Joshi – RSS Central Executive Committee member, Anil Bhalerao – Regional head of the RSS, and Sandip Rankawat, organiser of this conference. The Conference is also attended by intellectuals, saints and dignitaries from across the country including Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale, National spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Indumati Katdare added that the Westerners have invaded Indian knowledge. Scriptures were also destroyed along with the temples. Due to the attacks on knowledge, the education imparted in colleges is not Indianised. Such non-Indianised education has resulted in our mentality getting focused on money and lust.

Every Indian Science is complementary to the other : Basavraj Patil

Basavraj Patil said, “Other countries impart education in their respective languages. In India, too, education must be imparted in our native languages. Only then, children would be able to grasp the subject. There are lakhs of engineers in this country working on a salary of Rs 10,000, while people with MBA and similar higher degrees are paid salaries of Rs 5000 only. We need to find out the drawbacks in our material education and find solutions. Today’s children should be at least taught ‘Panchatantra’ if they cannot learn Vedas and Puranas. I have distributed 12,000 books of Panchatantra which would help children to inculcate virtues. I realised in a programme I attended at one place that we have more than 800 sciences. Every science is complementary to the other sciences. We can learn the science taught at the place where we belong and use it in a perfect manner which can help us to attain God.”
