Such content or X itself is likely to be banned in India
New Delhi – In a remarkable policy update, X, the social media platform owned by Elon Musk, has now allowed users to post adult content. It has circulated guidelines about who can view such adult content and who will not. Since pornographic websites are banned in India, there is a possibility that such content on X will also be banned.
In regards to the adult content policy, X wrote that users can now share or view consensually produced and distributed adult nudity or sexual behaviour, provided it is properly labelled and not prominently displayed.
