Mumbai Naval Officer’s credit card used in transaction abroad without his knowledge

Mumbai – A Naval Trial Officer’s credit card was used for a USD transaction worth Rs 46,000. The matter came to light after the officer received two messages on his mobile phone about this transaction. The officer had not given any information about the card or the password to anyone. He immediately got his card blocked by the bank and lodged a complaint with the Police. The Cuffe Parade Police suspect mobile phone hacking and are investigating the matter.
