Case of beating up AAP MP Swati Maliwal at Delhi Chief Minister’s residence

New Delhi – The Delhi Police on Saturday arrested Bibhav Kumar, aide and former personal secretary of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the alleged assault of AAP MP Swati Maliwal. The development comes two days after Delhi Police registered a case against Kumar following a complaint by Maliwal. In her complaint, Maliwal alleged that Bibhav Kumar slapped her 7–8 times and repeatedly kicked her in her chest and stomach when she went to the Chief Minister’s residence on 13th May. Maliwal was medically examined by the Delhi Police at the AIIMS hospital.

A case has also been registered against Swati Maliwal
In a dramatic turn of events, Bibhav Kumar, the Personal Assistant to CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed a written complaint against Swati Maliwal, alleging unauthorized entry, verbal abuse, and threats. Maliwal reportedly “forcefully and illegally trespassed” into the CM’s residence despite objections from the CM’s security and staff.
