A case registered against a religious fanatic married Muslim youth for torturing and trapping a highly educated Jain girl

‘Love Jihad’ in Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) – It has recently come to light that a fanatical Muslim youth trapped a Jain girl working as a manager in ‘Love Jihad’ at Indore. The religious fanatic befriended her by pretending to be a Jain himself and then sexually assaulted her several times by luring her into marriage.

The victim has stated in the complaint that she was introduced to the accused Mohammed Shahrukh Sheikh on the occasion of insurance work a year ago. The accused falsely stated that his name was Yash Jain. Chatting started between them. Sheikh told the victim about getting married. They started meeting. During this period, while talks of marriage were going on, he also had sexual relations with young women 3-4 times. On 15th April, Sheikh met the victim at her aunt’s house. The victim suspected that he was hiding something from her. She became aware that his real name was Shahrukh. When the victim went to his house, realized that he was already married. After that, the victim along with her family went to the police station and registered a case. A case has been registered against the accused for befriending her by changing her name, concealing her religious identity and raping her on the pretext of marriage.
