BJP accuses Trinamool Congress
Kolkata (Bengal) – The BJP has alleged that Trinamool Congress workers attacked a few BJP workers in Siliguri for chanting ‘Jai Shriram’. BJP is calling for ‘Siliguri Bandh’ in protest.
BJP booth president Nand Kishor, his family and other BJP workers were attacked on 28thApril for chanting ‘Jai Shriram’. 15 workers have been injured in this attack. They have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. BJP said that the Police have taken no action against the attackers. After the attack, the BJP members gheraoed the Police station. We have no information yet as to how many persons have been arrested for this attack.
