1. While uniting Hindus to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, it is important to perform vyashti and samashti sadhana; vyashti sadhana enriches the speech with Chaitanya and thus, influences people : To establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, we have to unite all Hindus. This act is called samashti sadhana (Spiritual practice for the spread of Spirituality). This is the spiritual practice to perform by being physically present on the field, meaning in the society. The other spiritual practice is vyashti sadhana (Individual spiritual practice), which is performed for individual spiritual progress. Chanting, meditating, etc. are examples of vyashti sadhana. Vyashti as well as samashti sadhana should be performed simultaneously. When the quality of vyashti sadhana begins to improve, the seeker’s voice develops Chaitanya. A Chaitanya-enriched voice has a positive influence on the listener. Just as a torch without cells does not emit light, so is a speech that is sans Chaitanya, which despite being heard intellectually, is soon forgotten; however, when our voice is Chaitanya-enriched, it affects the listeners in a positive manner and they become our followers.
2. To make optimal use of time in the mission of spreading Dharma, obtain knowledge which is beyond the five senses, mind and intellect by performing spiritual practice : Seekers perform the satseva of spreading Dharma in society. When in society, seekers should be able to understand by merely looking at an individual whether to talk to him or not about the mission; else, it will amount to waste of valuable time, which is a very important aspect for this mission. There is a new housing colony in Vasco, Goa. Seekers went to this colony to look at the possibility of starting a satsang there. A seeker told the purpose of their visit to the lady of the very first house they visited. The woman invited them in. Seekers spent almost one to one & half hours telling the lady about Sanatan’s mission and spiritual practice in general. The family had a pet dog. All this while the dog sat next to the seekers.
When the seekers left the house, the dog also came out and went somewhere. The residents of the next house told the seekers that they are rationalists and do not believe in God, etc. The seekers then visited and spent time explaining the purpose of their visit to the residents of the third, fourth and fifth house, but did not get a positive response. Then, they saw that the dog (from the first house) was sitting in front of the sixth house they were going to visit. The residents of that house welcomed all the seekers.
This dog had understood who was inclined towards spiritual practice and guided the seekers by sitting outside their door. He did this for six more houses in the colony. The residents of all these houses welcomed the seekers. Later, a satsang was started for the residents of these six houses. If a dog can understand who to talk to and who not to, even human beings will develop this ability provided they perform spiritual practice. This will save their time !
3. Faith is very important in Spirituality and if there is firm faith that the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is going to be established, then the mission will be accomplished with God’s blessings :
A devout Hindu (speaking to Sachchidananda Parabrahman [Dr] Athavale) : Sanatan Sanstha has become like a maternal organisation. There are 700 villages in Indur (District Nizamabad). Only when we conduct 49 Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabhas (Public meetings) in these 700 villages, will our purpose of visiting the Ramnathi Ashram be fulfilled and it will also amount to paying respect at Your Holy feet. Come what may, the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be established, because, we are getting related spiritual experiences – which are real, not imaginary.
Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : The certainty you perceive about the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ being established is called faith. Faith has higher importance in Spirituality. Belief is at the mental and intellectual levels; whereas, faith is at the spiritual level. That you have faith, implies you are blessed by God and are also experiencing inner communion with God. Earlier, people used to think that the concept of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is a dream which will never materialise; however now, many people are confident that the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is definitely going to be established.
