Changing the name of someone else’s house does not give you its ownership : S Jaishankar

Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar slams China over changing the names of villages in Arunachal Pradesh

Surat (Gujarat) – “If I change the name of a house today, will it become mine ? Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will remain a State of India. Changing the name will not make any difference”, said India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar while slamming China. China has changed the names of 30 places in Arunachal Pradesh and claimed it as its territory. It includes 11 residential areas, 12 mountains, 4 rivers, 1 lake and 1 mountain pass. In an event in Surat, Dr Jaishankar was asked a question in this regard. This is the fourth time that China has changed the names of places in Arunachal Pradesh in the past 7 years.
