Attack on a Hindu procession near a dargah in Chittorgarh (Rajasthan)

One Hindu killed, another injured

Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) – Fanatic Muslims in Pahuna village pelted stones on a Hindu procession of Deity Shri Charbhuja Nath on the occasion of dashami tithi, when the procession approached a dargah. This attack resulted in the death of an individual named Sham Chhipa. There is tension in the village following the incident. A significant Police force was deployed at the scene. The villagers had taken out the procession with drums and music. When the procession reached the main market near the dargah, the Muslims started creating disturbance and pelted stones on the procession.
