Sanatan’s Ashrams are supreme examples of Ramrajya (Hindu Rashtra)

In Sanatan Ashrams established under the guidance of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale (Source of Inspiration for the Hindu Rashtra), many seekers get experiences of Chaitanya (Divine consciousness), Anand (Bliss), and Shanti (Peace). Through the manifestation of virtues such as self-discipline, meticulous planning and love, these Ashrams exemplify the ideals of the future Ramrajya (Hindu Rashtra) at their pinnacle.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale has created these Ashrams like Gurukuls to provide seekers an environment conducive for sadhana (Spiritual practice). Through His inspiration, over 800 seekers are engaged in full-time sadhana across various Ashrams such as Ramnathi (Goa), Devad (Mumbai), Miraj (Sangli).

The uniqueness of these Ashrams is seen in the harmonious co-existence of seekers from diverse backgrounds and castes, sects and Paths of sadhana – all living together happily and lovingly. At a time when India is plagued by escalating casteism, Sanatan’s Ashrams stand as beacons of casteless unity. Each seeker regards co-seekers as ‘Gurubandhu’ or ‘Gurubhagini’ (Spiritual siblings), fostering a familial bond among hundreds of seekers. Programmes such as birthdays, weddings, religious rituals, etc. are blissfully performed in the Ashram for seekers as per the Scriptures. Seekers earnestly help and support each other in familial problems, times of sorrow, etc. as one family.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale has shown through these Ashrams that the pursuit of God-realisation can unite society and one can experience Ramrajya. He has established the Ashram at Ramnathi, Goa where seekers are experiencing a blissful life.

Sanatan’s Ashram at Devad, Panvel (Maharashtra)

This has the following Sections.

1. ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ offices of Mumbai & Western Maharashtra Edition.
2. Sanatan’s storage of Texts, taking care of requisitions and supplies.
3. Distribution centre for Sanatan’s sattvik products, utilised for daily and ritualistic worship.

Future plans to build Ashrams for the elderly and retired seekers

Seekers who have performed sadhana after sacrificing everything will not remain tied to their children or grandchildren, or watching television, or chatting about worldly matters in their old age.

They are not interested in aspects other than Spirituality, talking about or performing sadhana. It is for these seekers that an Ashram for retired householders has been planned in every State in India and later in every District.

The objective is to take care of seekers who have performed sadhana throughout their life and to guide them further.

Divine changes that indicate increasing sattvikata in the Ashrams

The sattvikata in Sanatan’s Ashrams is increasing day-by-day due to the Chaitanya-enriched presence of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, devotion of seekers, continuous activity related to the Nation & Dharma; and an environment that is conducive to sadhana. The seekers are experiencing this daily. Some examples are :

1. Shrikrushna’s picture that looks life-like due to the devotion of seekers.

2. Audumbar (Fig) tree that sprouted spontaneously due to the recitation of Deity Datta’s mantra.

3. Divine symbols such as ‘Om’ have appeared on the floor tiles at many places in various Ashrams of Sanatan Sanstha.

Various Sections in Sanatan’s Ashrams working to serve the Nation & Dharma

Sanatan’s Studio  

This has two state-of-the-art recording Studios and ten rooms dedicated to video editing. These facilities are utilised for filming religious rituals and documenting research carried out by the Spiritual Research Centre.

Holy Texts Section

Holy Texts compiled by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale are translated into Hindi, English, Gujarati and Bengali. This Section includes seekers of all ages, ranging from students to those above 70 years, who contribute to typing, compilation, formatting, and layout creation on computers. This Section has approximately 20 artist seekers who are involved in Art for God-realisation, not looking to obtain worldly happiness through the medium of Art. They are involved in drawing and painting sattvik pictures of Deities, rangolis, mehendis or Devanagari letters, and in sculpting sattvik Idols of Deities.

‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Periodicals

The Headquarters of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Periodicals is in Ramnathi Ashram. Here, seekers diligently fulfil various roles including editing, reporting news, composing articles on computers, collecting advertisements, bundling newspapers in the printing press, and managing the financial aspects such as recovering dues for the Periodicals. These seekers have dedicated their lives to protecting the Nation & Dharma at the intellectual level.

Spiritual Museum

This is the only museum in the world that preserves objects which offer insights into the subtle world and objects of spiritual significance. Dignitaries such as Mr Manav Buddhadev (Secretary of Yoga Vedant Seva Samiti) have remarked during their visits to Sanatan’s Ashram – “If intellectuals see the exhibition on the subtle world, it can spark curiosity about Spirituality in them. Moreover, it can increase the faith of seekers and readiness for sadhana”.

Sanatan Priest-seeker School

As their sadhana, student-priests in this school constantly perform religious rituals and Yajnas (Fire sacrifices) they have learned so as to protect and propagate Dharma.

Ramnathi Ashram has a Yajnashala where Yajnas are performed regularly for the protection of the Nation & Dharma. In addition to imparting knowledge to become dutiful priests, the student-priests are also taught how to practice priesthood as part of their sadhana.

Website Section

Young seekers who have advanced education in the field of Information Technology (IT), who have given up lucrative positions in various vital sectors, and are driven by inner inspiration are spearheading the operation of Sanatan websites dedicated to the propagation of Hindu Dharma. Their unwavering faith in Dharma has enabled them to develop these websites to meet international standards.
