Mathura/Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh) – Saints and social organizations in Mathura and Vrindavan have urged the state government to investigate beauty parlours in these areas from the perspective of women’s safety. They allege that some beauty parlours have become hotspots for ‘Love Jihad’ activities. Hindu leader Dinesh Falahari, associated with the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi movement, claims that Muslim youth working in beauty parlours are trapping Hindu women under the guise of love. According to him, this new trend, dubbed ‘Parlour Jihad,’ is a continuation of the ongoing ‘Love Jihad’ issue and is giving rise to fresh social and communal tensions.
1. According to the local saint community, over 13 Hindu girls from the Mathura-Vrindavan region have reportedly been lured into relationships by Muslim men and taken to metro cities like Mumbai, where they were coerced into converting to Islam and marrying them.
2. Earlier, such youth were often seen near schools and colleges. Now, they have found a new avenue through beauty parlours, where they emotionally manipulate visiting Hindu women. Several such incidents have already come to light.
3. Activists from various social organizations allege that the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) may be connected to these ‘Love Jihad’ activities.
4. This network of ‘Parlour Jihad’ is not limited to Mathura; it has reportedly spread to districts like Bijnor, Saharanpur, Amroha, and Rampur. These youths, often working as barbers near temples and other religious places, gain proximity to Hindu women through their jobs in beauty parlours.
5. Sadhvi Saraswati Didi stated, “‘Love Jihad’ is not about personal relationships; it is a well- planned conspiracy and a form of cultural invasion. The aim is to alienate Hindu women from their religion and families.”
6. The saint community has sent a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demanding strict action against those involved in ‘Love Jihad’ cases.
Active gangs of Muslim barbers in Bijnor and Saharanpur !
In these districts, several cases have emerged where Muslim men used fake identities to initiate relationships with Hindu girls. Working under the guise of barbers in beauty parlours, they exploit their access to women to manipulate and deceive them.
Call for nationwide discussion on ‘Parlour Jihad’ by media !
In an interview with Republic Bharat, Hindu leader Dinesh Falahari stressed that ‘Parlour Jihad’ is not merely a religious issue—it directly affects women’s safety and the stability of social structures. He urged national media outlets to initiate a widespread debate on this matter.
Editorial PerspectiveThese incidents clearly show that ‘Love Jihad’ operatives have no regard for the law. Using deceptive tactics, they trap Hindu women and young girls and destroy their lives. If the government truly wishes to stop ‘Love Jihad,’ it must enact a stringent law mandating capital punishment for such offenders. |
