| Court orders Police to arrest Maulana Tauqeer Raza and present him in Court

Bareilly (UP) – Additional District Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar of the Fast-Track Court has ordered the Police to arrest Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, chief of Ittehad-e-Millat Council, and produce him before the Court by 13th March. Alleging that he was the mastermind behind the 2010 Bareilly riots, the Court ordered him to be present for the inquiry. The Premnagar and Kotwali Police made several rounds of Maulana’s house to inform him, but he was not found. (This is shameful for the Police. – Editor) After the Police gave this information to the Court, the Court gave the above order.
