Male (Maldives) – After ordering Indian soldiers to leave the country, Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu has announced that he will not renew the hydrological survey agreement with India. “Underwater details are our property and wealth, our heritage”, Muizzu said at the time.

Muizzu said that the Maldives is working this month to establish a 24-hour surveillance system in Maldivian waters. Due to this, it will be able to control its special economic zone despite its large area.

Editorial Perspective

Muizzu is a good example of the adage that the intellect makes incorrect decisions when one’s destruction is imminent !
