Sun therapy by exposing oneself to sunlight is spiritually beneficial – Research by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay

Spiritual Research by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay

Nowadays, most people experience at least some amount of spiritual distress (Note). Also, due to the increase in Raja-tama vibrations in the environment, the body, mind and the intellect of an individual develop a negative energy covering resulting in physical, psychological or spiritual distress. By Sun therapy (exposing oneself  to sunlight ) the distressing covering around an individual reduces. Scientific research was conducted using the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) to  study the spiritual effect of sunlight on an individual. The interpretation, conclusion and spiritual analysis of the study is given ahead.

The Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) was developed in 2005 by Dr. Mannem Murthy, a former nuclear scientist from Telengana. By using this instrument the energy and the aura of an object, a premises, an animal or an individual can be measured.

(Note : Spiritual distress is the presence of negative energy in an individual. Mild distress is when the negative energy is less than 30%, moderate distress is when the negative energy is 30-49 %  and severe distress is when the negative energy is more than 50%. The cause of spiritual distress is destiny, ancestral problems and other spiritual problems. It can be understood by Saints or others who have the ability to perceive from the subtle dimension.)

1. Interpretation of the observations of the study

Mr. Ashish Sawant using the U.A.S. device for the experiment

In this study, an individual with severe spiritual distress and an individual with no spiritual distress participated. UAS readings were taken before exposure to sunlight and 20 minutes after exposure to sunlight. The effect on the individuals after Sun therapy is given ahead.

1 A. The individuals in the study were positively affected after Sun therapy : After Sun therapy, their negative energy reduced to a large extent and the positive energy aura increased markedly.

Individuals in the study Negative energy aura (metres) Positive energy aura (metres)
Individual with spiritual distress Before Sun therapy 10.07   2.47
After Sun therapy  3.37 5.75
Individual with no spiritual distress Before Sun therapy 4.83 6.40
After Sun therapy 2.12 10.73

2. Conclusion : An individual is spiritually benefited by doing Sun therapy.

3. Spiritual analysis of the observations in the study

3 A. Both the seekers were spiritually benefited by Sun therapy : The Sun Deity bestows health. Hence it is said in Sanskrit – ‘आरोग्यं भास्करात् इच्छेत्’ which means that one should ask for good health from the Sun Deity. For a healthy body, exposure to sunlight on a daily basis is necessary. This should be done taking into consideration the rules on exposure to sunlight as per the season. Exposing oneself to sunlight on a daily basis helps to reduce the imbalance of body humours (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). It helps to reduce the negative energy covering around one’s body, mind and intellect resulting in the reduction of  physical, psychological and spiritual distress, and improvement in health. The individuals in the study did the Sun therapy for only 20 minutes for a day, yet their negative energy aura reduced to a large extent and their positive energy aura increased to a large extent. This shows how Sun therapy is spiritually  beneficial.
