A journalist of ‘Al Jazeera’ is a senior commander of Hamas : Israel claims

Israel criticises that terrorism is going on in the name of journalism !

Jerusalem (Israel) – Israel’s Defense Forces have claimed that named Mohammed Washah, a journalist of ‘Al Jazeera,’ is a senior Hamas commander. They have accused ‘terrorism in the name of journalism’. Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces said that 2 Al Jazeera journalists who were killed in an Israeli airstrike, had links to terrorist organisations such as Hamas and Palestine Islamic Jihad.

A few weeks ago, during an operation in Gaza, Israeli forces seized the laptop of Mohammed Washah. Some photographs found in his laptop show that he is a Hamas commander and that he has participated in several wars with Hamas.

Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee said that the data in the laptop indicated that Washah was a top commander in Hamas’ anti-tank missile unit. Washah started ‘Research and Development’ (R&D) for Hamas’ air unit. Investigation has revealed that he has direct connection with Hamas. Terrorist activities are being carried out in the name of journalism.

‘Al Jazeera, we think your journalists should report impartially on all situations. They should not stand on the front line and fight a war like Hamas.’ – Israel Defense Forces appeal to Al Jazeera.
