Shriram lives below poverty line, that is why BJP is building a house for him ! : Shameful statement of TMC MP Shatabdi Roy

Kolkata – Trinamool Congress MP Shatabdi Roy said, “Perhaps Shriram lives below poverty line (BPL), that is why, BJP is building a house for him, as they do, under the BPL housing scheme. BJP is so powerful that they can build a house for Shriram. The work will be completed when they build two separate houses for Luv and Kush”.

BJP State President Sukant Mujumdar has criticised her saying, “Shatabdi Roy’s statement reveals the mentality of Trinamool Congress. This statement has insulted Hindus all over the world”.

There is nothing new about the Hindu-hatred of Trinamool Congress. Earlier in 2019, Trinamool Congress Chief Minister Mamata Banerji had objected to the slogan of ‘Jai Shriram’ during one of her public meetings. She had said, “Those who are shouting ‘Jai Shriram’ are hooligans and action will be taken against them”. Later, 12 people were arrested for raising this slogan.
