The long struggle for the Temple of Maryada Purushottam (The best amongst men, who lives within the sphere of Dharma) Prabhu Shriram – the soul of the Holy land of Hindusthan – is at last over. The struggle has been immortalized in the annals of history of the world for the self-respect and national identity of the Hindus.
Shriram is from the Raghu Dynasty and is Ayodhyapati (Ruler of Ayodhya). The grand Temple of Shriram, which defines the culture of Bharat, the ideal of Bharat’s civilisation and represents the values of Bharatiya life, finally stands tall. The auspicious Divine time of the Pranapratishtha of Ramlalla is coming close.
Shriram is an exceptional unifier identity who bonds everyone, from the Himalayas to the Indian Ocean.
In everyone’s mind, the construction of Shriram Temple is not only the defeat of the Islamic invaders, but also the victory of Dharma (Righteousness) over adharma (Unrighteousness). At the same time, it is a fresh beginning of the new Satyayug within the sixth cycle of Kaliyug within Kaliyug, an exceptional creation of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ of Hindus. This effectively means – this is the dawn of a self-ruled Nation based on our Hindu Dharma, and an all-powerful, efficient, enriched with all facilities, happy, prosperous, cultured rule.
Footprints of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’
Shriram performed the Ashwamedha Yajna, and consequently, Ramrajya existed in the whole world for thousands of years. Shriram’s Ramrajya is the best example of an ideal Kingdom. Here, the King – Shriram – is the prime example of sacrifice for the Nation. To fulfil His promise, He actually gave up the Imperial throne, and helped Sugreeva and Bibhishan get back the kingdoms they had lost. The King who sacrificed even His Divine wife for the sake of ideal governance – He is the One and only Prabhu Shriram, for whom the well-being of His subjects was of utmost importance.
Prabhu Shriram is the supreme example of humility, One who honoured His promises, integrity, and enlightenment. He is the embodiment of Brahmatej (Radiance of a Brahman) and Kshatratej (Radiance of a warrior). His is an Incarnation for the elimination of demons and creation of an ideal Nation. He is the guardian who is always ready to destroy the enemy by creating an army (of monkeys during His time) so as to protect the Nation.
He is a King who has the ability to tame even the vast ocean when required. Raghuram is a skilled organiser. He is everyone’s Deity Shriram. This is why, He is an ideal for everyone, the One who should be emulated.
Ramrajya is the focal point for the highest of ideals; hence, it is inevitable that Shriram Principle should get activated for the creation of an ideal Nation. Bharat, which was amongst the top 10 economies in the world in 2019, is now looking forward to becoming the 3rd largest.
Ramlalla’s moving out of the tent has brought about so much change in Bharat ! In such a case, when Shriram will ritualistically be instated in His grand Temple and His Principle will become active in the whole world, will it take long for Bharat to become the Vishwa Guru ?
The construction of Shriram Temple may outwardly seem political in nature, but its subtle spiritual effects will be far-reaching and all-pervasive. Is the present intonation of the expression ‘Hindu Rashtra’, which was considered criminal 10 years ago, not a Divine play of Ramlalla ? The impossible is becoming possible, and the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ (which seems somewhat difficult in the present moment) is going to be realised and this itself is the subtle mission in the construction of Shriram Temple.
The result of the bloody historical struggle
After Babar’s General Mir Baqi destroyed Shriram Temple in 1528, 76 major and minor battles have been fought to take over its control. Many Saints and devotees have sacrificed their lives; but, the zeal of Hindus devoted to Shriram to win the battle did not diminish at all. The resolve of Hindus remained invincible for generations.
With new energy in this struggle, on 23rd December 1949, Ramlalla appeared in the Babri structure. The demand for proof of Shriram’s birth in Independent India was an unfortunate blow to the heart of every Shriram devotee. In 1990, as lakhs of Karsevaks united for Shriram, leaving aside the barriers of caste, creed, sects, position, etc., it was once again proved that Shriram can unite Hindus. The result of the 134-year-long Court battle was finally won by Hindus on 9th November 2019, after overcoming tough challenges. This would be a unique occurrence in the whole world – that a group fought for a Temple for over 500 years !
The Names of Shriram and Ayodhya are a source of positive energy and vitality, pride for culture, awareness of history, an ideal of life, an inspiration for national upliftment; not only this, these are also a way of instating Dharma, and through this medium, the door to Moksha (Final Liberation).
Hindus are experiencing Bliss and spiritual satisfaction due to this exceptional Temple construction. This generation has the fortune of witnessing unprecedented moments of the Temple construction, which is the foundation of establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
Real devotion unto Shriram as per the significance of times lies in striving for practicing the vyashti (Individual) and samashti (Collective) personality traits of Shriram.
At this time, for various reasons Hindu unity is on the rise. Shriram has put forth the ideal of slaying the enemy in the enemy’s house. Shriram’s life teaches us how to identify the enemy, prove equal strength and more importantly, worship as a devotee so as to be victorious.
An ideal ‘Hindu Rashtra’ can be created by a strong Dharma-based Hindu unity as well as the subjects who staunchly abide by Dharma, which will instil fear in the enemy. This will be possible through the inspiration we obtain from Shriram Principle that will be activated through the Temple.
Hence, if the devotees of Shriram increase the pace of their worship now and devote themselves in an organised manner to take the lion’s share in the mission of national upliftment, the dawn of Ramrajya will not really be far !
