Statement by Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir

Our ancestors sacrificed for this country, and we know how to defend it,” said Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, while speaking at the first Overseas Pakistanis Conference. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and many senior leaders were also present at the event.
General Asim Munir described Kashmir as “Pakistan’s jugular vein” and claimed that “no one can separate Kashmir from Pakistan.” He also referred to Gaza as “the heart of the Pakistani people.”
