Terrorist Hanzala, mastermind behind the attacks on Indian soldiers’ convoys, shot dead in Karachi
Karachi (Pakistan) – Another Jihadi terrorist operating against India has been killed in Pakistan. Adnan Ahmed alias Hanzala Adnan, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, was shot dead by unknown assailants in Karachi. Unknown assailants fired at Hanzala in the early morning of 3rd December outside his house, despite a heavy security presence. Hanzala was later secretly admitted to a hospital in Karachi by the Pakistani Army. Hanzala died on 5th December. He was a close aide of LeT Chief Hafiz Saeed.
Hanzala was the mastermind behind the 2016 attack on a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Pampore (J&K). 8 soldiers were killed, while 22 were injured in this attack.
Hanzala was also the mastermind behind the 2015 attack on a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy in Udhampur (J&K). 2 BSF soldiers were killed, while 13 were injured in this attack. Hanzala was working on instigating and training the newly recruited terrorists. He also trained terrorists in the camps based in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
